CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Crosland LLC announces several openings and upcoming additions at retail centers in Tennessee and North Carolina that the developer manages on behalf of third-party owners.

Providence MarketPlace

Body Shop Fitness (1,842 sf), which specializes in personal fitness training, joined Providence MarketPlace in Mount Juliet, Tenn., last month. Body Shop Fitness offers monthly gym memberships as well as customized personal training utilizing Crossfit, a multi-functional core training program. Body Shop Fitness members work out on new Legent, Cybex and SportsArt cardio and weight-lifting equipment.

The gym is staffed by certified personal trainers and Crossfit-certified trainers who want to get customers into the best shape possible. Body Shop Fitness also offers competition preparedness for body building, power lifting, and fitness, figure and bikini competitions. Nutrition training is available from a national-level fitness competitor, and the fitness center carries a variety of supplement lines including top brands such as Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Gaspari Nutrition and CytoSport.

Jetton Village

Investment firm Edward Jones (1,200 sf) joined Jetton Village in Cornelius, N.C., in February. While Edward Jones is an international firm, the company prides itself on building relationships through face-to-face interaction between investors and its financial advisors. Edward Jones has more than 7 million clients throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, with locations convenient to where clients live and work.

Jetton Village also welcomed Burgundy Moon Spa & Winehouse (2,508 sf) in April. The spa, which hosted a grand opening celebration on May 16, combines exceptional spa service and specialty wines. Customers can experience massage, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing and hydrotherapy. These services are performed by professionals using products infused with wine extracts and products by d’vine, GM Collin, Zents and Zoya. Signature treatments include the Burgundy Moon Warm Wine Massage, which indulges customers in the intoxicating aroma of sweet wine and the soothing feel of warm oil, and the Burgundy Moon Luxury Facial, which combines grape seed and red wine extracts, designed to exfoliate, stimulate collagen and revitalize skin.

The spa can accommodate special events such as bachelorette parties, bridal showers and corporate rewards programs. Burgundy Moon Spa & Winehouse features a gourmet wine boutique and is open six days a week: Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.

Whitehall

Space Kidets(5,500 sf) will open its second Charlotte location near Whitehall Commons in early fall 2009. Space Kidets provides children 12 and under the ultimate play area featuring huge inflatables and the latest arcade, video and carnival games, as well as an air-hockey table and six holes of mini-golf.

Voted “Best Birthday Party” in 2009 by Charlotte Magazine, Space Kidets hosts private birthday parties, team parties, fund-raising events, youth and play group packages and open play time. All events are staff-supervised, and free play of arcade games is included with admission.

Toringdon Circle

Toringdon Circle, located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, welcomed Chic Nails in April. Chic Nails (1,600 sf) offers customers a selection of services including manicure, pedicure and waxing in a relaxing and hygienic environment. The spa uses OPI Nail Lacquer, which is available for purchase in the latest colors and shades.

Rullo di Pasta (2,400 sf) also opened at Toringdon Circle in early July. The Italian restaurant and bakery focuses on gourmet take-and-bake pizza, providing homemade dough, sauce and fresh ingredients. Customers can watch their pizza and salad being built as they walk down the line and choose their own toppings. The take-and-bake restaurant provides an eat-in or carry-out dining experience with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.

The eatery’s morning options range from breakfast pizza to Italian biscuits and gravy to an assortment of scones; customers are invited to enjoy a morning cappuccino or espresso in the Italian bakery. For lunch, customers can enjoy small pizzas, big salads, homemade breadsticks, soups served in a sourdough bread bowl, and traditional Italian sandwiches served on homemade bread. Rullo di Pasta’s dinner customers can enjoy family-sized portions of Italian favorites such as lasagna and baked ziti. The restaurant also provides outdoor dining on a comfortable patio, an ideal setting for customers to enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine as the perfect complement to any meal. Rullo di Pasta is allergy-aware and environmentally conscious, providing allergy-sensitive menu items.
