Mary Lou Drake has 25 years of experience in human capital management, and has contributed that hard-earned wisdom to DRAKE & Associates since founding the company in 1992. Drake and her team enjoyed an excellent year in 2008, having increased the company’s gross revenues by 52 percent and graduated the 14th class of its popular Certificate in Leadership program. Drake serves as a Leadership Coach for MBA students at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Institute. As a thought leader, Drake presented her work on “Developing HR Competencies - Career-banding at the University of North Carolina” at the College and University Personnel Association’s annual meeting. In 2008 DRAKE served as a community sponsor for Cornucopia House’s “Chocolate Affaire,” and Drake has served as Chair of the Croasdaile Village Family Council for the past three years.
