RALEIGH, N.C. - Christopher Capel, Lacy Reaves and Gerald Roach, Partners with Smith, Anderson, Blount, Dorsett, Mitchell and Jernigan, L.L.P., have been named “Raleigh Lawyers of the Year” in their respective practice areas, by Best Lawyers, a highly respected legal peer-review publication. Smith Anderson is the only Raleigh firm with three honorees.

Mr. Capel has been named the Best Lawyers’ 2010 Raleigh Mergers & Acquisitions Lawyer of the Year; Mr. Reaves has been named the Best Lawyers’ 2010 Raleigh Real Estate Lawyer of the Year and Mr. Roach has been named the Best Lawyers’ 2010 Raleigh Securities Lawyer of the Year. He was also honored as Best Lawyers’ 2009 Raleigh Corporate Lawyer of the Year.
