10/02/09 - Sam’s Club Recognizes Outstanding Oak Ridge Employee
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Oak Ridge Elementary family has been faced with many obstacles this school year, but Assistant Principal Jackie Burney has remained a positive team player throughout it all. She’s provided the necessary communication to keep things running smoothly and help the school remain united. With buses, students and volunteers at different campuses, this exceptional employee has turned organization into an art. As Employee of the Month, Burney will receive a $50 gift card from Sam’s Club, which has generously partnered with Guilford County Schools (GCS) to support the employee recognition program. During the month of October, her photo will hang at the district’s central offices and the Sam’s Club on Wendover Avenue.
